Allen County Broadband Task Force Get Connected
Every Allen County resident should have access to a reliable internet connection. Take the internet speed test to give us real-time data of where we can improve internet service in Allen County.
Building a Connected Future
Broadband connectivity powers us forward. Homes, businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and our farming communities need reliable internet access to provide services that enrich everyone in our county. That’s why we’re committed to providing broadband internet access in unserved and underserved areas in Allen County.
About the Internet Speed Test
We need your help to find the most underserved broadband internet service in the area. If you take the speed test, we’ll receive valuable information that we can use to improve internet speed. Taking the test will allow us to:
- Identify broadband funding opportunities
- Give broadband providers more information about where to provide service
- Build a brighter future with fast internet speeds throughout our entire county
The test is fast and easy — we won’t use your information for anything but collecting data for the speed test. Help us give everyone access to reliable fast internet!

News & Updates
The Indiana Connectivity Program is an extension of the NLC Grant Program. The program allows unserved or underserved locations to apply for consideration in the Next Level Connections portal to initiate their interest in receiving broadband internet service. Internet service providers will have the opportunity to review the locations submitted by end-users and place bids to the state on the cost of providing service to these locations. The Allen County Commissioners strongly encourage residents and businesses to leverage this program that lack broadband internet access. Visit OCRA: Indiana Connectivity Program to apply.
